Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Combating Financing of Terrorism (CFT) Policy

Framework aligned with Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002 & RBI Master Directions

1. Policy Objective

Trustticks Technologies Pvt. Ltd. maintains zero tolerance towards money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraudulent financial routing. This policy outlines our internal controls, Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures, and continuous transaction monitoring mechanisms.

2. Customer Due Diligence (CDD) & KYC Standards

Before issuing API keys or activating checkout credentials for any merchant, Trustticks performs:

  • Automated verification of Business PAN against the Income Tax Department database.
  • Bank account validation via Penny Drop to confirm that the bank beneficiary matches the legal registration name.
  • Screening of business names and directors against Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) sanctions and UN Security Council consolidated lists.
  • Physical or digital verification of business website, refund terms, and customer grievance mechanisms.

3. Ongoing Transaction Monitoring

Our routing engine incorporates rule-based heuristics to identify anomalous velocity spikes, suspicious foreign card patterns, rapid sequential micro-transactions, and high dispute ratios. Any merchant triggering suspicious transaction alerts will be subjected to immediate verification and escalation to our licensed partner aggregators and statutory authorities.
